There’s no better way to learn about the past than by looking at the artifacts that tell its stories. To help tell the story of the past, the National Museum of Fine Arts in what was then the Philippines acquired several artifacts from the past—dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Philippine art. The National Museum of Fine Arts, formerly known as the National Art Gallery, is home to paintings, sculptures, and other artistic pieces. It’s located on Padre Burgos Avenue across from the National Museum of Anthropology on the eastern side of Rizal Park. The National Art Gallery has exhibitions that cover Philippine art from the 17th to 20th centuries. But if modern and contemporary art is more your thing, don’t worry! You can see that on Level 3.
