If you’re after a great day out, then you’ve probably looked into a few places in the Philippines. You’ve probably even found a place that looks great on the internet. But, have you gone there? I recently found a place in Tanay, Rizal, called Treasure Mountain that I think you should go to if you’re looking for a great day out. I’m not just saying that because I’m a blogger or anything. I’m saying that because it’s a great place to go. Here are some of the things I loved about Treasure Mountain.
Introduction
Right from the moment you arrive at Treasure Mountain, you feel the vibe. This place is so refreshing and awesome. There are nice cottages upon entering the area. It felt like a relaxing and peaceful place to be. At first, I didn’t know what to expect. I was a little nervous about being in the middle of nowhere. But, once you walk through the gate, you are immediately welcomed by an unwinding breeze and a relaxed place.
What is Treasure Mountain?
The mountain is the place to go if you’re looking for a breathtaking view. This place is the perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy an effortless sea of clouds and a superb view of the Sierra Madre mountain ranges. The Treasure Mountain sea of clouds might not always be present, but the view is still amazing. You should see it! I wanted to see the sea of clouds, but I guess it didn’t want to be seen. Despite disappointments, I still capture the good views.
The best thing about Treasure Mountain
There is so much to see and do in Treasure Mountain. From challenging rope course, taking a walk, and enjoying the best view of the hills of the gorgeous Sierra Madre, ATV for adventure and thrill-seekers, feel the morning breeze of fresh air, or you could pitch a tent if you don’t want to miss witnessing the elusive sea of clouds. I think seeing the Sea of Clouds is the best because you get to see and experience the amazing rolling clouds over the mountain, just like at Sagada. That most of the visitors always say it’s Magical!

What To Expect in Treasure Mountain
A beautiful view at the top of the peak. Trees. Rock Formation. You get to hike up a little, enjoy the views, and enjoy what you’d expect to find at the top: a spectacular view of the mountain ranges. It’s your little piece of paradise or something like that. How To Get There? Treasure Mountain is less than two hours away from the hustle and bustle of Manila. Ride the Jeepney from Cubao going to Cogeo. From there, get off at Sitio Maysawa and hire a tricycle for P150 to get you directly to the top of Treasure Mountain!
Rates / Fees:
Let me start by saying the entrance fee is reasonable. It’s not a lot of money at all, and it’s worth it. You can now experience a day tour for as low as PHP 150.00. You will have access to the site from 5 AM to 3 PM. Overnight Entrance Fee – Php 200.00 per pax (Check-in is between 4 PM and 10 PM, and the guests can stay until 1 PM the next day.)

Facilities
I could go on and on about the facilities they have. They even have their restaurant where they serve food, shakes, and liquor—a camping area for those who want to stay at night till the next day.
Conclusion
Treasure Mountain is a great place to go. You can tell that they try to make it a place for families to go there. And the scenery is amazing. I highly recommend taking the trip to Treasure Mountain.
